Help me test G.com v3.0

Got ideas on how to improve the site? Keep 'em to yourself! Just kidding; post them here.

Kinda digging it. Miss the front page, even with it's old pics and such. I admit I slacked off over the last year by not updating Boogieman's lair....but it got to where I didn't think anyone looked at them anyway.

Good jorb so far G. Keep rollin'!

Thanks dude!

I still have a few ideas for things to add/change. I'm taking suggestions. Doesn't mean I'll do 'em, but I'll take 'em...

Maybe he's referring to how the old polls seemed to linger on the front page for months.

So far, so good. Ditto on sorta missing the old homepage, but I'm sure we'll settle in.

I like the front page. Even if it is a picture of some mountains...I like pictures of mountains. Reminds me of actually being in the mountains. Soothing to the mind. I may not post here often, but I do swing by almost everyday, just to see what my peeps are up to.

Oh, and here's a picture of Travisimon whilst in the mountains, circa 2005. :D

I'm playing around with the attachment settings. You can always click on the attachment to see the full sized picture, but I'm wondering how large the preview image should be. The picture of Travis above is 400px.

This one is 600px.

This one is 800. The castle is 600. The pic of Travis above is 400.

Does anyone have a preference on the standard thumbnail size?

I think a preview size of 400 is plenty big. If people want the full size image, they simply click on the thumbnail...no reason for a preview to take up a lot of real estate in forums.

I thought so too. I was just playing around with the options. :-D

I'm about to drop another feature on you too... probably within the next 10 minutes it'll be ready...

Seems the boards got infiltrated by a bot or spammer. I'm in the process of deleting all unconfirmed HUMAN members, and all bogus posts.

Ok...so I've deleted the bogus users and related posts. Hopefully none of the random usernames were actually people. However, if you register as "fkjasd;lkf" Then damn it, you deserve to be deleted.
