Got ideas on how to improve the site? Keep 'em to yourself! Just kidding; post them here.

I think there were about 27ish All but one were created over the weekend in a short span about 5-10 minutes apart from each other in some cases.

Interestingly enough I almost wrote the exact same thing again

You're the hero Garmachi.com deserves. Or needs. Or... how the hell does that go?

It goes like this....

"You're the guy ditching work in his office to cruise Facebook and G.com because Monday's freakin' suck, so you may as well help out yer pal Gary in the process"

Or something like that.

Looks like this could be a daily thing. You mind killing them off while I find a plug for the hole?

I was working on bringing back the main page, but I think this is a higher priority now.

I've come to the party late, because I'm a slacker, and busy with the first week of school, and photo stuff, but mostly just a slacker. I love the new venue! I love 'thanking'! It fulfills my need to show appreciation for a post without actually lifting a finger. Because I'm a lurkerslacker.

This is fancy and shiny and exciting. But why do links not open in a separate tab like every other forum ever? Do you not want us to stay on the site?

Thanks!

Opening in the same tab is the default with PHPBB3. With minimal effort I could change it, but I've always been in the habit of using my middle mouse button on links to force them to open in a new tab. I hadn't even noticed really. Also I haven't decided if it's worth the time to make the change. (It would require some coding...)

That's not a "no"... It's a "does this bother anyone else?"

Honestly.....It kinda bothers me too. But I wasn't going to be the first to say so.

Also, having the "front page" back.........not so much. It's too busy. I'm sure you can weed it down to the aesthetic essentials, but if it's all the same to everyone else..it's not a requirement anymore. I've already gotten used to not having it. :)

You can bypass the front page by using this:

Code: Select all
http://www.garmachi.com/phpbb3/index.php

Also, just below the site logo is a link that says "Board Index". Clicking that will do the same thing.
