My neurosurgeon did not have to add short rods back into my back because it had healed perfectly and was very sturdy when he manipulated it while he was in there. Thank god, because I would not want to go through all this pain again!
The incisions are healing up my back and the staples will come out on Wed, Sept. 12th. I assume that the muscle spasms will pass, probably in a couple of days time (I hope!) Next up, is seeing about getting this IVC filter removed from my Cardiologist in a few weeks time back in Erie. I am pushing that magical 16-month mark so who knows if he will be able to remove it or not. If not, I will be on Coumadin for the rest of my life. This should be all the major follow-up surgeries stemming from my car accident unless my ankle collapses on me (which could be now or never).
My goal in life is to be as good a person as my dogs think I am.
The average dog is a nicer person than the average person.
How does it feel to feel?
